LIGHTER IS BETTER FOR KIDS--HERE'S WHY!

  1. DEVELOPS A SMOOTH SWING

Ultralight and Tour Series clubs help the young golfer develop a smooth swing. In order to swing a heavy junior club, a kid must manipulate his body and grip to compensate for the weight. The two most common manipulations are:

STEEP BACKSWING. In order to get the leverage needed to draw back a heavy club, a kid must pick up the club abruptly in the backswing, which causes the downswing to be too steep and results in inconsistent shots. This chopping motion is the number one reason the 15 handicap player finds it difficult to improve beyond a certain level. It starts with the take away and ends in years of frustration and lessons.

BAD GRIP. Kids must have an overly strong grip to draw the club back. This causes unique swings, at best, and for most people, a poor golfing experience throughout their life.

  1. THE BALL GOES FARTHER

Remember from physics: Force = Mass x Acceleration

Force at impact = Mass (clubhead weight) x Acceleration (clubhead speed). Because Ultralight and Tour Series clubs  are lighter, a youngster is able to swing the club faster--much faster than with a heavy junior club. This causes the force at impact to be greater which means more distance for the young golfer.

For a good example, look at what's going on in Little League. All the kids are using lightweight aluminum bats--heavy wooden bats are obsolete. The reason? Bat speed. Kids can swing a lightweight bat faster--as a result, baseballs are traveling farther. Tests have shown, and parents everywhere have said, that kids can hit the ball farther with Ultralight and Tour Series clubs. They create more clubhead speed, get more distance and have more fun.

SUMMARY

Every day, kids are given heavy junior clubs which impede their ability to develop a smooth, natural swing.

Ultralight and Tour Series clubs were created to give kids equipment they can control and swing properly. They're specifically designed to help kids gain more distance, have more fun playing golf and, most importantly, develop a better swing to last their lifetime.

"When I saw how much higher and farther my kids hit the ball, I became overwhelmingly convinced--Ultralight KidsklubsTM will change the way kids learn to play golf forever." -- Bobby Clampett, PGA Tour
