U.S Kids Golf 2006 World Championship
Pinehurst NC, USA July 26th-30th

Pinehurst, North Carolina the "Home of American Golf" will host the 2006 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. Three courses at Pinehurst Resort, recently named the #1 Golf Resort in the World, will be used for the competition. The full slate of courses for the anticipated field of over 800 young golfers is as follows:
  • Pinehurst No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5
  • Mid Pines Golf Club
  • Talamore Resort
  • Midland Country Club

Pinehurst, North Carolina the "Home of American Golf"

As a special opportunity for Boys and Girls in the 12-year old age group, U.S. Kids Golf is creating a Ryder Cup-style Match Play event that will be played on Pinehurst No. 2, site of the 2005 U.S. Open. Top finishing boys and girls, age 12, will form two teams (U.S. and International) for the competition to be played on Sunday, July 30.

The World Championship is an invitational event. Only individuals who have participated in a U.S. Kids Golf World Championship Qualifier and meet U.S. Kids Golf (USA) minimum requirements will be considered. Qualifying tournaments in Japan for the 2006 World Championship are Tama Hills Summer Tournament (August 2, 2005),  Kansai Spring 2006 Tournament at Kasagi Golf Club (March 30-31, 2006), and Kanto Spring 2006 Tournament at Windsor Park Golf and Country Club (April 3, 2006).
